Travel Counsellors for Business has strengthened its corporate travel team with the appointment of Wayne Durkin as its new head of business development.
Durkin was previously director of business development at CTM and has also held positions at other TMCs including Clyde Travel Management, Good Travel Management, Meon Valley, and Griffin Marine Travel (now part of ATPI) in his career of more than 25 years.
In his new role at Travel Counsellors, Durkin will lead sales strategy, oversee new client acquisition targets and expand the business development team to support the company’s corporate growth plans.

Travel Counsellors for Business achieved the milestone of corporate travel sales surpassing £200 million for the first time in 2023. It was also listed as the 13th largest TMC in the UK and the 22nd biggest in Europe in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024.
